Spring is in the air, and so is a fresh batch of upgrades from the Stagey dev lair. With version 9.0.4, we’re continuing to refine your workflow, respond to community requests and bring smoother collaboration to your ticketing and production life. Here’s what’s new:
💸 Financial Tools and Payout Improvements
Order Stripe Payout on Settlement (STG-799)
Payouts are now automatically triggered once a performance settles. This will ensure that the amount of your payout matches your bank deposit. Note that ALL Stripe accounts have been set to “manual payout” now to facilitate this feature. No more guesswork—just reliable cash flow.
Refund Dates Matched to Performance Settlement (STG-823)
Refunds are now timestamped using the performance’s settlement date, not the refund date. This ensures cleaner, more accurate accounting. Your refunds will now be included in the same settlement as the rest of the performance tickets.
🎟️ Ticketing Experience Refinements
Set Default Ticketing Cutoff Time to 0 (STG-669)
By default, ticket sales now stay open until showtime—because last-minute magic is part of the game.
PWYC Fix for Performance Fees (STG-662)
Advertising for service fees now includes auto-calculated Pay What You Can prices. Change the PWYC price of a ticket in your Shopping Cart and the advertised service fee changes with it.
🧑🎓 Accessibility and Equity Enhancements
Accessibility Requests on Receipts (STG-672)
Ticket receipts now include accessibility request details for full transparency and preparedness.
Accessibility Dashboards by Performance (STG-671)
Venue-side dashboards now show all accessibility requests, grouped per venue and per performance. Ideal for staff prepping shows with care.
🔍 Better Discovery and Admin Control
Search by Performance Day (STG-666)
Users can now search shows by a specific calendar day—perfect for festival browsing and one-day attendees.
Search Flags on Home and Discover Pages (STG-667)
You can now search by show flags from both the homepage and “shows” view, making it easier to spotlight what matters.
🛠️ Admin and UX Fixes
Track Ticket Move History (STG-826)
Every ticket transfer now leaves a trace. Track what changed and when, for better security and support.
Reworked Ticket Move Flow (STG-828)
A slicker, clearer transfer experience that’s easier for audiences and box office teams alike. This new experience supports “bulk” ticket moves as well as individual tickets.
Performance Flags on Tickets Tab (STG-665)
Flags (e.g. “sign interpretation available”) now show up on the performance ticket tab—making it easy to see special notes at a glance.
🎭 Industry Outreach
New Comp Request Question (STG-668)
When requesting a comp, industry folks can now tell you what opportunity they’re scouting for—awards, write-ups, partnerships, you name it.
✉️ Email Polish
Bugfix: Remove Punctuation from “From” Field in Emails (STG-808)
Emails now send with cleaner “From” fields—no stray punctuation getting in the way.
That’s it for Web 9.0.4!
As always, these changes are built on direct user feedback and real-world theatre workflows. Keep the suggestions coming—Stagey is made for makers, and we’re proud to build it with you.
Onward,
–The Stagey Team
